"Come travel in the footsteps of Master Anders Zorn with Jeremy Lipking as he guides you on a six-day magical tour to Sweden visiting the homeland of his painting idol.
This is a once in a life-time experience! A very personalized grand tour with Lipking to Stockholm visiting the National Museum of Fine Arts, home of many Zorn masterpieces, and Mora, Zorn's birthplace now housing his museum, The Zorn Collections.
Like Zorn, Lipking is considered a naturalist painter and has taken many of his painting cues from an intense study of this great man's oeuvre.
Imagine viewing these Zorn works up close and in person with Lipking as he casts his highly trained eye over the masterpieces reviewing them just a small intimate group of fellow travelers?
Your trip includes a painting workshop with Lipking, many figure landscape painting opportunities in the area and frequent demos. Lipking will host three 'alfresco' style picnic lunches and also an informal dinner with wine at his travel residence on Varmdo in the Stockholm archipelago in the style of the old 'art salons' of the past.
The traveling group will be kept small to optimize the learning experience so book fast as space is very limited.
Cost: $2,700. Includes six nights hotel lodging double occupancy on Varmdo and in Mora from the 18th-23th, continental breakfasts, three 'alfresco' style picnic lunches and a dinner hosted by Jeremy.
Not Included: Air travel to and from Sweden, car rental and train travel, meals other than stated above are not included, art supplies, personal travel insurance.
The Workshop dates are July 19th to July 24th 2012.
Use the link here to pay for your spot in full. There will be no refunds after June 1st. Partial 50% refund by May 1st. Partial 25 per cent refund up until April 1st. Any questions email Danielle Lipking at danielle [at] lipking.com or call 818 451-7675

absolutely amazing! I can not believe the great talent you have! Congratulations!
I just stumbled upon your site and blog. Your work is fantastic! I love your use of brushstrokes (like in Katie Painting), in relation to your attention to detail.
I will definitely look forward to what you post next and I wish you the very best in your future endeavors!
Do you ever get tired of painting breasts and bare bums? I love breasts, probably more than the next guy, but do they really belong in this many paintings? It's not revolutionary, or creative. Your handling of paint and overall renderings are nice but that's really where it ends. You must be catering to a group who are expecting nudes or something like that, that's all I can figure.

Hi Jeremy,
what kind of oil paints and medium do you use? Best wishes
So inspiring!
Wonderful!!
You have wonderful realistic description technique.
But it is not explanatory.
It has more sensible power of expression.
The brush stroke has good feeling.
It has rhythm such as the music.
I'm sorry.
I am not good at English.
I am a Japanese painter.
I paint a realism painting.
